Campers will choose their own schedule for the mornings with choices of sports, arts, STEM, and enrichment courses. Below is just a sample of the amazing things our K-6 campers will explore!

Amazing Race: Shalom, aloha, hola! We will go around the world in this Amazing-Race-style class stopping at different places every week. This class will teach campers about language, culture, and the food of foreign countries. Campers will complete a craft, cooking project, and sport or game from each country. No passports are needed!
Angry Birds Physics: In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield. Learn the physics to how to master this game!
Are You Smarter Than?: Campers will put their brain to the test and compete against each other in different brain buster games each day. Campers will participate in games such as chess or monopoly, and answer questions from all subject areas. They might be surprised by how much, or how little, they might remember from their past school years.
Archery: Children are taught the basic skills on how to shoot a bow and arrow using various targets. Safety skills are incorporated in a safe environment for everyone.
Basketball: This is a great place for any young basketball player who is looking to improve his skills, work hard, make new friends and have fun! Campers will develop all of their basketball skills - shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense.
Baseball: Explore America’s favorite pastime this summer and hit some homeruns! Campers will play in tournament-style championships with medals for VIP, most improved and winning team. We encourage each camper to be a more positive, optimistic person, and our philosophy is to “let them have fun” while playing a lot of baseball!
Adventure Camp News: This class will give campers the chance to channel their inner reporter. This “newsworthy” class will be a combination of photography and writing skills as campers report on happenings around Adventure Camp. Campers will learn about print and internet news sources. The best articles will be published on the Adventure Camp website.
Candy Science: Candy, everybody loves to eat it, but nobody stops to think about how it is made. In this class, we will do just that. Campers will learn the science behind some of their favorite treats.
Creative Construction: How much newspaper does it take to build a chair? Can you make a bridge that can hold books using toothpicks? In this class, campers will have the chance to use their imagination to build things and learn how to work together to complete tasks.
CSI: Put on your thinking caps because your help is needed to solve cases in this class. Campers will learn different methods of investigation and detective work to solve mysteries around Adventure Camp.
Double Dare: Get ready to get super messy in this one of a kind game! Campers will take turns answering trivia questions in this class. If they don’t know the answer, they can dare the other team, but be careful, because things can get crazy if the other team double dares them back!
Dance and Cheer: This class will help you find your inner diva! Learn choreography and popular dancing, while learning the basics of cheerleading!
Fashion Spa: This class is a weekday get-away. Relax and enjoy the luxuries of a spa to break away from the day to day. Using the power of fruit and organic ingredients campers will create their own face masks, lotions, and more!
Fear Factor: Join us to test your taste buds, challenge your mind, compete against your peers, and of course, improve your health! Face your fear by tasting exotic fruits and vegetables and guessing what you’re eating. Campers are asked to sample approximately six exotic fruits and vegetables. Each camper will guess the item tasted, as well as share one way they would eat the food at home. All campers are entered into a drawing for a prize. At the end of the challenge, all campers will be provided with a simple list outlining the items tasted, the nutritional value of each item, and how they could easily incorporate the food into their diet.
Stop Motion Animation: Campers are trained in and rotate into each job of a working film crew shooting the week’s narrative feature film.
Flag Football: This program is helping children and their families enjoy the football experience every time they step on a field. Campers will be taught the fundamentals of flag football, get lots of exercise, and be involved in a positive experience. Campers will also play in tournament-style championships with certificates for VIP, most improved and winning team.
Gizmos and Gadgets: This class is perfect for our campers who love technology. We will learn about how technology has changed over the years and learn to use the tools of today to create something of their own.
Globe Trotting Chef: This class will open your eyes to international culture through food! Globetrotting chef takes you on a journey around the world learning about all the great famous cooks and cooking the foods they became known for.
Globe Trotting Art: This class will open your eyes to international culture through art! campers will engage in the life histories of artists both famous and not, and how each interprets the world around them through artistic expression - take a cultural trip with Adventure Camp as we travel the Globe.
GLEE/Pop Stars: Get in touch with your inner Carly Rae Jepsen, Jonas Brothers, or artist of choice. Learn and perform your favorite songs in this modern music class. This class combines karaoke, dance, and movement.
Hand building Pottery: Play with Clay! From cups to clay creatures, have fun working with earthenware in this hands-on course. Each budding potter will create functional pieces and creative art.
Incredible Edible Art: See what the expression, "It looks good enough to eat," means. Learn how to construct incredible edible creations that you gobble right up. You will walk away with your own recipe book and table decoration as well!
Jewelry Making: Learn the simple tricks of working with wire to create unique gifts. Using basic hand tools, we will explore linkage systems for making earrings and necklaces, including clasps and ear-wires, as well as learn small-scale forging to add distinctive accents to our pieces. No soldering and no experience necessary.
Lego: Different models using wheels, axles, gears, and levers will be built and tested each week. It's LEGOrific!
Mosaic Masterpiece: How many tiles will it take to create a piece of art? Can you use regular school glue for the project? In this class, campers will learn the techniques of the art and create a one-of-a-kind piece!
Olympic Sports: Campers will develop their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a variety of sports. The emphasis is on self-confidence, self-discipline, skill and form improvement, and having fun.
Robots: All things robots in this class! Campers will be examining robots to see how they work and make their own!
Talent Show: What are you good at? This class will help you practice your special talent for the annual camper talent show.
Young Entrepreneurs: Calling all future CEO’s. Starting a business from scratch is very hard, but in this class campers will have the chance to do just that! Using teamwork, campers will appoint roles, develop and advertise the product, and promote sales; all of which will help your camper become a future CEO.
Zumba/Hip Hop: Everyone will love this high-energy class. Campers will learn the basics of both zumba and hip hop. They will also get a chance to make up their own dance and perform it for the class!
Yoga: Children today are under a lot of stress. Yoga helps instill calm, confidence and balance in campers. Yoga has also been shown to help the hyperactive and attention-deficit child. These children crave movement and sensory/motor stimuli. Yoga helps channel these impulses in a positive way.
Secret Agent: Go under-cover and delve into the mind of a spy. Develop a disguise, use escape and evasion techniques, create spy gadgets, and uncover science in spying.
Rockets: This class teaches an understanding of flight, physics, math, technology and rocketry through the hands-on investigation and construction of a student's own rocket. On the final day of class, each student will launch their completed rocket and watch it Whoosh up into the sky, then drift down ready for another flight.
Animal Creations in 2-D & 3-D: Campers can let their imaginations go wild! We will explore mixed media through 2-D and 3-D art by painting and drawing, designing, sculpting, and storytelling.
SPLAT!: Get messy with us in this super fun class! Children will create really neat projects and make a really big mess that parents don’t have to clean up! Projects include WaterPaint Wars, Fantastically Fun Spin Art, Creating a canvas, and more!
