Toddlers to Pre-K

Age 18 months (by 8/1/22) through entering Pre-K

M-F, 8:30am - 3:30pm.   

Bring your little one to Adventure Camp for a summer of fun and learning! Through the use of weekly themes, campers explore, learn, and play in a stimulating environment. Campers will engage in a variety of sports, music and movement, nature and gardening, Israeli Culture, farm to table cooking, arts and crafts, water play, and weekly Shabbat sing-a-longs and so much more! Several exciting performances are also scheduled throughout the summer, which may include a magic show, children’s entertainers, animal experts, and puppet shows! Lunches may be purchased or brought from home.  All toddlers must be independently walking.

Rising K - 1 Grade

For children entering kindergarten and first grade

M-F, 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

This program helps campers transition into upper camp as they explore all of the exciting activities of youth camp while learning to be more independent and self-sufficient.  Daily activities include arts & crafts, cooking, drama, gymnastics, sports, water play, Jewish cultural programs, and STEM activities. Campers will be assigned a classroom for storage of lunch, backpacks, and a spare set of clothes.

8:30am - Morning Flag

8:45am - Globe-Trotting Art (This class will open your eyes to international culture through food!)

9:40am - Lego Mania (Building Challenges, Games, and more!)

10:35am - Olympic Sports

11:30am - Playground

12:25pm - Lunch

1:20pm - Water Play

2:15pm - Game Room

3:10 - Song Session

3:30pm - Dismissal

Rising 2nd - 6th Graders

For children entering second through sixth grade

M-F, 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. or or 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Campers will choose their own schedule for the mornings with choices of sports, arts, STEM and enrichment courses.  The afternoons will be complete with lunch, waterplay, Jewish cultural programs, music, leadership development and hang time.  Campers will be assigned a lunch bin in the air conditioned building and will need to carry their backpacks throughout the day.   There will be three late nights during the summer that include dinner and activities.

What are Clubs? During clubs, kids will choose from a variety of activities like Art, Cooking, Robotics, Adventure Camp News, Candy Science, Creative Constructions, Gizmos & Gadgets, etc. Click here to view a sample of the classes we will be offering each week.

 

How does my Camper choose their clubs?

Parents will be sent the options for the week in advance to go over with their campers, choices are made by the Wednesday prior.  All clubs will be focused on interactive STEAM activities loaded with hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, language, sports and math projects giving children the opportunity to explore, experiment and make life-long friendships!

Rising 7th - 10th Graders

Leader In Training - LIT (Rising 7 & 8)

Counselors in Training - CIT (Rising 9 & 10)

For teens entering seventh through tenth grade

M-F, 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

The LIT & CIT programs focus on leadership, responsibility, individual growth, and social skills.  There will be an ongoing training program with the group supervisor.  Pre-camp training sessions will be required and you must attend at least four weeks to receive certification and earn SSL hours.

Enrolled Student or Graduate of Hillel: $280

Cost for this program includes special guests and training materials.  Note: Counselor applicants (must be at least 16 years) with CIT certification are considered first for camp positions.

Extended Care

Extended care is available in the mornings from 7-8:30 a.m. and in the afternoons from 3:30-6 p.m. The cost per week is $40 for AM or PM care or $75 for both.
